8 RED Hats for $1,160

On a modereately recent order, we have purchased 8 16GB cards, each for $495.
A few days after we paid for the order in full, but definitely before it has shipped out, I have noticed that RED started to offer 16gig cards as pack of 4 for $1,400.

As you might anticipate, it was a bit of disappointment to comprehend that we could have saved $1,160 if our rep have relayed the news about the 4-pack offer, before dispatching the items.

Yet, I mailed our rep asking if they could replace the 8 16gig cards on our order with 2x4-pack offer, and refund us the remaining amount. However I got a deferred answer that 4-pack is a seperate deal and we got a RED Hat with our purchase of each 16gig card. My insist on paying for the 8 gift Hats that we got, it remained unreplied.

Now we have super cool hats with metal RED logos embroidered on them, each for $145

Ouch. That's the cost of an extra RED DRIVE due to a minor oversight.
