Hi I've tested 3K 16/9 REDCODE 28 @ 50fps project rate, recorded to red drive, but when I open the file in redcine it takes 100 frames per second altough the project and the shot itself are set to 50fps...
and in redalert, it is just weird.....it seems it is really 50fps, but first it doesn't show the same tc than in redcine or quick time (there is one hour difference), and when you play it the tc is not consistant (for exemple after 50 frames it is really one second of tc after, but if I go back two frames the tc is then 26 frames before!!!).
In redcine every frame number is played twice, once normal and once with a *, so it is 00:25 then 00:25* then 00:26 and so on, till 50*, therefore it takes 100 frames per second.
In redalert is seems to be nearly the same, except tc is not consitant, so it goes like 00:25, then again 00:25, then 00:26 and so on, but sometimes there is a jump.
In quick time the frame number is also played twice, but only till the second 00:24 and then it comes to 01:00, so there is really 50fps and it is consistant.
Am I missing something? Does people have encounter this?
I have to deliver some 50fps project for 720p broadcast, so I really need this to work quickly.
Thanks,
antoine.
