3D image playback with Red Rocket?

Is it possible to playback 3D images in REDCINE-X PRO with one Red Rocket?

You can make stereo clips and transcode them faster but I have seen no options for realtime stereo playback.

It may be possible if you made a 3D clip, set it to display side by side and made the viewer full screen on an external 3D monitor.

My understanding is that we would do an offline in 2D and then in 3D when we do online. Perhaps having the ability to view each shot in actual 3D as we are cutting will help with a depth continuity.
