Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
Includes Straight, 90°, and 45° relays. 12mm, 16mm, and 20mm lenses, plus custom case. Comes with a Canon EF Mount, but has an interchangeable system, with PL, Nikon, and others available from InnoVision Optics. I purchased them new from Innovision for $49,367 and used them lightly on two IMAX...
I purchased this system new for a Giant Screen/IMAX production from Innovision Optics in 2014 for $49,366.75. It was lightly used by me on this production and is in excellent condition. It’s great for tabletop work and makes possible really cool shots from places where you could never get the...
This is a great cinema verité lens in excellent condition. All glass is clean and all rings turn smoothly. Includes simple clip on shade for 4x4 filters. With the smaller pixels on the Helium 8K sensor, this lens brings the versatility and high frame rates of 3K Super 16 to your Weapon.
I...

I just put the following Red One accessories up on eBay:

Since Red is dropping 2/3”, please give us a 2.5K mode on Red One, Epic & Scarlet!
I know this has been requested before, but in light of Scarlet’s move to a 35mm sensor, I believe it is more important then ever to offer a cropped 2.5K 16x9 mode on Red One, Epic and Scarlet (2560x1440, or...
Audio was recorded to the Camera, which I believe is 24 bit. Audio was also recorded to 24 bit wav files with matching TOD TC (jammed with camera).
When I render dailies out of RocketCineX they show up as having 32 bit audio, which the Avid that needs to import them does not like. This happens...
Can anyone confirm this? Gotta believe it's on the way - pretty crucial to be able to save looks with clips. That and the ability to add multiple clips to a bin at once would be really useful. Otherwise, the app is looking great.
I could not find any reference to this issue in a search. Very curious to know if anyone else is experienceing it. I just finished up a two week shoot and got some very strange timecode behavior that is going to really complicate the conform.
I’m shooting an upgraded R1 w/ build 17 v3.4.1 and...
Forgive me if this has been addressed, but I could not find anything current.
I will be shooting 4K or 4KHD at 23.98 and need to make offline dailies for an Avid Media Composer (v11.0.0, Mac OS 9.2.2) cutting in SD 29.97 15:1 for later recomform at 1080i. So I want to render out SD sized...
For those of you who are swapping between Red PL, Wicked Circuits, Red Nikon or Birger mounts, since you have to change the Red's back focus adjuster for the all but the Birger (and Nikon?), is it possible to create a mark and accurately return to it if you want to go back to PL, or does it need...
While the new tools at our disposal allow us to do so much more with less $$, and while I applaud the democratization of the craft, it is very sobering to take note of what is been happening to independent films in the market place lately. It's not about quality - there's plenty of great stuff...
I need to rig my camera to shoot remotely triggered timelapse (fire a frame on external trigger, rather than set interval). Before attempting to wire the GPIO trigger I am testing by manually using the camera's record button in Timelapse one shot trigger mode. Here's the problem I'm having...
I know others have had this problem, but I cannot find a solution that works. In 15 v 2.1.7 one of my 4 Red CF cards will not format. When I insert the card the camera says that the card has not been speed verified and cannot be recorded on. When I try to reformat the card, it says that...
This thread overlaps previous ones somewhat, but I started a new thread because I am looking for specific feedback on services to offer Red users.
We are a New York-based film lab and digital post facility that’s been handling original negative for 85 years. We did the recent filmout of...
