HAHA so Some of you may laugh but I invented something that would save me thousands! I have Zeiss CP.2's and Canon lenses. Shooting wildlife on primes is kind of a dumb idea so I usually tend to use my CP's as studio or organized shoot lenses. I need ND's on my CP's but the stupid lenses don't...

Hey everyone! I wanted to know if you know about any hacks for the Scarlet? The 5D has magic lantern. Do we have anything that could give us more frame rates at high res or anything?

Hey guys. I've had my scarlet for about a year now and I feel like I'm not doing well AT ALL with finding work. Since I got the camera, I've only gotten about 7-10 jobs. I feel like I've exhausted my Craigslist postings and I don't know where else to go. Can anyone help guide me to a place on...

Hey everyone. Is there any pre-made look out there that gives you a little more contrast than the regular red gamma3? I shoot wildlife and it's frustrating to have to grade the milky image before sending it off. I just want something simple and good (like the log you'd get on the 5d or the...

Hey Everyone! Looking to upgrade my lenses. Right now, I have the Tamron 70-300 IS which sucks because the IS doesn't work on my SCARLET.. Only the Canon does, Canon 18-135 IS, Canon 50 1.8, Tamron 90 macro 2.8, and Tamron 10-24 3.5, 5.6 I also have the 21,50,85 mm CP.2's that I will want to...

Hey everyone so I shoot wildlife on my scarlet. My normal workflow is usually, shoot with no audio, cut picture and add in stock sounds and bg's later. This usually sounds way better than recording in the field for me but sometimes, I'd like to have on set audio to reference specific sounds...

Hey everyone. I'm a little new in the RED world. I've had a scarlet for about a year and I noticed something on my recent trip to Africa. I am getting a crazy amount of noise in some images. Like almost unusable. I never go above 250 iso unless I have to because I found that this gives me less...

Does anyone know of any cinematography schools out there?

Ok! so I've been itching to get a new head and sticks. I can't do the 504HD anymore. I just can't! lol. I haven't weighed my scarlet yet but i'm guessing it's around 20 pounds with a CP.2 and matte box attached. the 504 is obviously not able to take this weight from experience so I looked online...
