Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
Well... I've been playing around with those Zr R3D's and I'm really impressed. It's a new (and proud) addition to the RED family and we need to give the Zr a spot in the REDUSER camera lineup in the RED cameras page.
Even if the colors from Raptor and Komodo-X are closer it's quite easy to...
Still have my Monstro. Love that sensor and the flexibility. Was thinking of selling it but it's still making money... even if it has been payed of a long time ago.
Younger gen dop also love the picture it produces. And still the only camera doing IR.
Yes!!! I just saw it. Thanks
Does anyone have any R3D from that camera (nature shots) to play with? I wounder if the sensor has the same texture as the RED cameras.
Patrick
I wounder how 12bit will work in r3d. TC is also a big question mark. But for that price it's a really amaizing camera and rolling shutter seems really impressively. good. How long does the EN-EL15c battery power the camera?
I'm happy with 6k s35 and 8k VV.
I just would love NikonRED would implement the dual AD readout as in the Alexas.
I suppose that DR of 13 stops is the physical limit of a mono readout.
I use the pre-record on my Komodo-X and had no problem so far...
Only donwside with CFexpress (not pre-record related but media related) is that if you don't unmount the card it kills it (card is dead to throw away). But not if the camera battery dies while shooting thanks RED. Only if you...
I agree even if I would love to see the next Red. With AI face tracking, sensor stabilisation option, dual gain architecture 800 and 12800 iso or dual AD structure on a global shutter 24x36 sensor.
