    CLI tool to extract .R3D metadata?

    Besides mdls (which is an apple / spotlight command) are there any command line tools that will extract/print/report back any/all metaData from an R3D file? One tool that does this for other file types is a tool called exiftool but it does not extend its support to the R3d file format...

    Pulling MetaData from .R3Ds (using mdls... or ?)

    I'm trying to extract useful metadata from our R3Ds as a post archive step. Is there a way to print metadata values of an R3D at the command line? MDLS which won't work for us as that is an apple spotlight command - the clips are stored on a StorNext volume (which makes spotlight barf)...
