  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Michael Tushaus

I know, I don't post a lot. Though I'm here reading a lot and appreciating everything all of you have to offer here.

I have been making films and videos for over 30 years as a director, cinematographer, editor and composer and I own and operate Digisphere Productions Inc. in Las Vegas, Nevada. My work as a director, producer, editor and composer has garnered me 5 Regional Emmys® and 17 nominations for multiple regional commercial campaigns I have produced, shot and directed. I have also garnered dozens of film festival awards and nominations for my work on feature-length and short films including nods for Best Director, Best Film, Best Sound Design, Best Cinematography and Overall Excellence awards for my films.

As a director/cinematographer, I have worked with most digital cinema cameras on the market today—RED (I currently own the DSMC2 Gemini 5K and the RED Raven 4.5K), ARRI, Sony, Panasonic and so forth. I have directed and/or lensed for a variety of feature films, documentaries, music videos, short films, commercials, promo’s, web series and fan films varying in styles of action, horror, suspense, psychological drama, sci-fi, comic book, and comedy.

One of my most proud accomplishments as a D.P. was shooting the recent feature documentary, "This is My Home" (2019), which involved our crew and me following the Irish music duo, "The Black Donnelly's," who set out to set a new Guinness World Record--60 gigs, 50 states in 40 days. Needless to say, we did it. We made it through all 50 states, while they performed over 60 gigs in actually 35 days. It was the most grueling, yet rewarding project to date. We interviewed several people along the way focusing on immigration and had the honor to interview Nobel Peace Prize nominee, Jose Andres, who gave us some beautiful insight about the immigration debate. I am also proud to say that RED Digital Cinema came on as a sponsor to the film and provided me with a Weapon 6K package to film with as my A Cam. Thank you RED for your support!
