I want to buy the Red Ram for my Red One, but I want to make sure it will be compatible with the Epic at it's highest quality setting, otherwise I will wait. Anyone from Red care to chime in or does this need to wait for the November announcement?

I am pretty sure it will, but I just wanted to ask.... If we are working with native Red files, we can edit, color correct and then just use Adobe Media Encoder to output directly to Mpeg 2 files? What if I want to use another encoder, what would be the best format to output to? 1080p Quicktimes?

I get confused with all the millimeter sizes of sensors and frame areas. Will older lenses, such as Cooke 20-100mm, still cover the Epic's 5k sensor area like they cover the Red One?

Did anyone else watch this? What is up with that camera technique? Zoom in, zoom in, pause, zoom out, cut, repeat. I watched about 20 minutes and wanted to go outside and destroy someone's car. Holy hell.

Does anyone know the technical details of this show? What format, stocks, lenses, etc.? IMDB didn't show anything other that what lab they use and a google search didn't turn up much.
