Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
Personally, I'd leave the dying battery installed and just run external timecode. Better than risking damaging a camera that can no longer be repaired.

It's worth having an in-camera ISO setting in the general ball park for what you need, since ISO still informs the human operator's visual perception of the overall exposure, so a radically out of line ISO value might prompt other, less desirable adjustments - like stopping down a lens...
There's no 1.5x anamorphic support in-camera on GEMINI, but you can still use your lens. Plan to desqueeze and crop in post. Use an SDI monitor with custom desqueeze settings to monitor in-camera.
To my understanding, it's not possible. You can adapt z mounts to other standards because of how shallow z mount is, but the reverse is not true. The z mount depth is too shallow to accommodate the behind the lens ND featured on XL.

There were a few different media options from RED ONE, ranging from CFast cards to the RED DRIVE and eventually even REDMAG 1.8" media. There were specific side modules for the CFast and 1.8" media options.
