Adapt a RED LCD?

The RED LCD is probably one of the best onboards I have ever used.

Does anyone know if its technically possible to convert it to accept a standard HDMI or video signal?

Or is the video signal proprietary?

I was under the impression a large amount of the electronics for the monitors are actually inside the camera body.

not adaptable.. the screen itself would work theoretically.. but the video signal stuff is all built into the camera body.. as is the power.

Does anyone know if it is possible to make a long cable (i.e. 12mts/36ft) for the LCD, to use it with a jib? I own a Jimmy Jib apart from two R1s, and it would be great to fit it on the operator´s end... it becomes almost useless in that situation.
