Did anyone have a play with EPIC at NAB and get to see how secure the modules attach?

My concern is that it looks like its based on a V Lock system and I wouldn't want modules falling off midway through a shot if the camera is car mounted or on a crane.

Anyone see how it all works?

I hear that the locking mechanism is quite secure but if you wanted even more security, you could mount a rail system to the top. It appears that each module has mounting holes at the front which I imagine are to mount accessories. i am sure that one of these accessories will be a 15 and 19mm rail mount that will add additional support and allow more accessories to be placed on top.

I remember Jarred replying to a post of mine regarding a similar concern, his response was there is a hex key to lock the modules together once attached. I'll try to find the exact post...

It is almost incredible how well they stick together, and this also includes the Grip, which was you hold the Epic with one hand by its mounted Grip, holds up the entire weight of the camera system, and does it incredibly well and safe.

Same for the Modules, the V system seems to be very well designed, and offers no concerns of any kind for what I have experienced in person playing with the various system configurations.

Having said that, when doing extreme shoots, I always would still make sure to be safe with my gear, and I'm known to strap the crap out of any gear that goes flying, and or riding on any kind of vehicle, and any one should do the same.
