Think I already know the answer but just checking...does installing the new RedLine mean the old RedAlert/RedRushes no longer works?

The old apps should still work, but they're deprecated and are no longer going to be updated. Remember that REDAlert! started life as just my little R&D app to figure out the image processing, but we decided to put it out for everyone to use. However, it's underlying image processing code lives on...

RA is still good but RR fails, I get the word "error" in the progress column

We'll have to get an answer from Deanan on Rushes - but REDAlert is self-contained and doesn't rely on REDLine.

Thanks. I wonder if any other companies have the author of their free software doing free customer support within 5 minutes of the question being asked on Saturday morning...

What other companies give away an app like RC-X for free, constantly update it from user feedback and keep it growing in features and capabilities? I guess it comes down to the fact that REDUser is for users of RED, and RED themselves are all RED users. We use our own cameras daily and are utterly passionate about their development.

I salute you for it my friend, and this is why we are Redusers :~)
