Hello all,

I have a very lightly used 15" MacBook pro with the Express Card slot (one generation back) that you need for the Mobile Rocket. If you are looking for a rocket solution but don't want the bulk of the 17", this is the way to go. The 15's are getting harder to find as they have replaced the EC slot with an SD one. It also has a removable battery (current models have the battery sealed inside with no way to replace it), so you can have potentially endless power with multiple spares.

Laptop is in absolutely fantastic condition with the exception of a small scratch on the cover right under the Apple logo. Obviously this doesn't affect performance in any way, but I wanted to make sure the buyer knows it's there.

Specs are: 2.8GHz Core 2 Duo, 7200rpm Hard Drive, 4GB of RAM, Snow Leopard Installed. Absolute top of the line configuration when it shipped; still extremely competitive.

Asking $1,700... please see photos below. Feel free to contact with any questions.

Thanks!

Nope, just got a Red Rocket for my 8-core desktop and I can't imagine working with RED footage without it. I don't do enough DIT work to justify the laptop and I'm gearing up for Epic so trimming the things I don't need and reallocating to where I do. :)

In light of the new models that have come out, I've reduced the price again - or just make me your best offer. Thanks.

What screen does it have? 1440x900 or 1680x1050? AG or glossy? How old is the system? And is there AppleCare coverage? HDD capacity?

The screen is 1440x900... Apple didn't offer 1680x1050 on the 15" models until last week. It's glossy, about 9 months old, no Apple Care. Absolutely guaranteed not to be DOA or have any problems... it's been my in-house laptop since I've had it and there have never been any issues. I think the hard drive is 320GB... I'll have to check on that.
