  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

ScarletUser Podcast NAB2010: Steadicam® Tango

Just watched the podcast and the tango looks amazing. I got to meet Garret in November when he came up to Syracuse and luckily there weren't a lot of people so he taught me how to use a steadicam for the first time during the two days he was in town. He also gave one of the most amazing lectures I have ever heard on camera movement.

Garret is good people for sure!

Joseph you guys are doing a great job, and a big thanks to you and your crew for all the effort, but you think you could get your exposure up a little? Im straining to see what is being discussed.

You need a very light camera for this.

Yeah, I shoulda corrected that here back in post. I asked Peter Abraham to operate and let me be the host of that segment so I wasn't able to get it correct right out of the gate. ;)

Hoping you get back to the booth. Thank you from all of us stuck far away from the fun. Keep 'em coming!

I just got back from their booth (now transcoding the interview with Ted), and they said "Though you are a Tiffen certified Steadicam Operator, we are being very careful as to who can operate it."

It's still a work in progress for them, as they are still getting it made and the guys (Garret including) are still learning, themselves, all of the tricks to operating the rig.
