  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

WTB: Light Craft Workshop FADER ND

Sry to post without something to sell, but I just wanted to mention that I used my FADER ND for the first time on a shoot last weekend and it performed great! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a inexpensive, convenient ND solution.

Brandon, which one did you use? The light craft or the Singh Ray ?

I really want the LightCraft but they're backordered for 5 weeks! ugh..

the Lightcraft. Signh Ray was too rich more my blood. Works great.

5 weeks? I had to wait about a week before they shipped, I guess I got it just in time! That was about a month ago.

What size did you get Brandon - was it to fit onto stills lenses?

I think the Cinema5D forum suggested even the biggest one vignettes on the Tokina 11-16mm, but not the Singh Ray Thin Mount 77mm.

Also, I'm guessing that there will be graduated polarising on very wide shots, as it's a polariser.

my widest lens is 17mm so I can't comment. But it works great at my widest. :)

the 5 weeks is only for the 77mm version. You can get the others more quickly.

I did not see the 5 week notice. Sorry about that. I did get it from one of the authorized sellers. I ordered the 82mm and a bunch of step down rings for my Canon lenses since I'm using with a 5D as well as with a RED.
