Hi !

Interesting thing here.... I cant get on our MX Red in V false color mode even orange or red colors... possibly a problem when a different ISO is selected then 320 ?

thx
rainer

The same here. Yes it does not clip. 30,4,1 bild on several cameras. Iso 320, M sensor. And (not a big thing, but) color mode for raw is not really visible , because of doty desing.( patches of purple or red would be easye to read (not dots) )

That is correct. The √ V mode is showing you the RGB video level, not the RAW Exposure level, and FLUT rolls off the highlights so that it shows yellow in RGB domain.

stuart, now in the vV mode the maximum exposure is not hitting the red its only hitting the yellow.

for the same exposure: in the vE mode is red and in the vV is yellow.

please help me!!!!

Yes but FLUT constrains the value reached to IRE 99, to get the two other colors you will need to adjust some other non-FLUT matrix value such as
RGB GAIN.

enen ire 109 appear yellow in the √V mode.

It may be correct, but it does seem an odd choice to have colour overlays listed in the manual which represent IRE values that can never actually be reached with FLUT colour processing (other than by intentionally applying a gain value to lift the levels above 100% IRE).

I read THE manual and see it wrong (not all colors). With or without FLUT™™ it not supose to affect RGB. (or not) (RGB is after all --contrast, brightnes or look up table, ... or not)
