Changes to settings not showing up on viewfinder/monitor

Howdy all...

A quick question for you. When shooting on the RED today (build 21) I noticed that when I made changes to the white balance settings (from 5600 to 3200)....the output of that change was never seen in the viewfinder of monitor. The color of the scene stayed at 5600K even though the setting was changed to 3200K.

I rebooted the camera several times all with the same results. I messed around with other settings (tint for example) and while I changed the tint settings in the camera the monitor never reflected any change in color.

Anyone know what might be going on?

you might be viewing in RAW mode.

Ugh! I think you're right. It just hit me. Thanks for that...I will check on the setting first thing in the morning.

I had that problem once, i had switched profiles on accident. i didnt realize and shot the whole shoot without being able to see the changes. that night i figured it out.
