I've seen the future of digital print. They've been talking about digital readers replacing the physical printed page for over a decade and it hasn't happened. Now I realize that's only because the digital versions didn't offer anything of value beyond the printed versions at the cost of resolution, portability and feel. Mind you, this Viv spread is a serious production and it will be some time before the common tools like Photoshop, Quark, InDesign and Flash make it easy for print publishers to fully utilize this new genre (and there will be mistakes and abuses) but I can for the first time finally see the handwriting on the wall, and it's animated.
