Want to Buy R2E Lemo to eSata Cable...

I read these only work on the 320 drives... Anyone used these before? Likes? Dislikes? Feedback appreciated!

Thanks!

I'll sell mine. It worked great on the one 320GB drive I got it to work on. I am not sure if it was Build 21 or the SATA_TRANS_FAULT fix that made the cable stop working, but only a limited number of 320GB drives do and no 640GB drives that I know of.

Make me an offer.

I have one and have mixed feelings about it. It works great on 3 of the 4 320GB drives I have. That 4th (and newest) RED Drive does not work. It does not work on any 640GB drives I've tried and it does not work properly on the RED-RAMs either, or at least I've had some corrupt transfers with that cable and the RED-RAM, so I stick to FW800 now for simplicity. Typically if I'm in a mobile situation, I have my eSATA connected to a RAID anyway and I have to connect the media via FW800.

I get the same results on my CalDigit FASTA-4X PCI-E eSATAx4 card, the CalDigit 1ex ExpressCard-34 eSATA adapter and the ATTO H680 SAS/SATA host. All have the latest drivers and installed in a couple different systems. The CalDigit x4 eSATA is in a PC.

Yes, correct.

Last I heard, there was mention of adding some sort of low voltage padding or buffering to the cable to compensate, but I haven't heard anything since and don't know if there's a solution yet.
