R1 not showing Red Bricks power percentage

Hey Guys, to clarify I have already sent a ticket to support. But I still would like to know if this happened to anyone else.
Suddenly out of nowhere, the battery status on the back of the camera and on the Vf, Evf shows up as DC powered.
I cant bring the percentage of batt power back!
I feel it has something to do with the build but as I recently installed the latest from red.com ..
but cant tell for sure..
am gonna see if I have an earlier build in order to check that out..
but if this has happened to anyone else it would be nice to know..

It is happening to me as well. even with Different batteries, different battery plates it now always shows dc power.

Basically-
If it is happening on multiple RED Battery Plates with multiple RED Bricks than we would need to bring the camera in for a simple internal repair.

I had this problem on at least three rentals. It'd show the percentage until you hit the battery meter on the brick and then the camera would say DC. I always thought it was a sign of the brick starting to die. And I would mark that battery on the shoot.

I have this as well... I check the batteries manually with the leds... Annoying, especially if the camera needs repair to fix it! Ouch...

I am sort of glad? that I am not the only one having this issue...
The thing that concerns me the most is if I could keep working with the camera as is..
How long you guys have had this issue? For me its quite new, but for you?
I dont like the fact of having to send the camera in, basically because I dont live in the US and it is such a pain!! The leds on the bricks will do for now I guess... Too bad I cant open the RED body and do the "simple repair" my self...
