  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

No surprise that Canon has to catch up on image quality. Any maker would be stupid not to improve their product, esp if it´s competitively aimed at prosumers. Show me superior codec, modular design, free lens choice, better connectivity incl. audio, choice of recording media plus availability at a competitive price point and I might rethink my SCARLET plans - but only if RED decides to make SCARLET HD-capable only ...
 
dvxuser is really canon interested i heard...dont know i like to spent money with RED...makes fun to mail with the employees.
 
It looks like a Canon user dream.

Back to a real world everything goes pretty rough and "aliased".
 
Chip in a box? That's obviously the early Arri Alexa and someone is getting confused.

And when the Sony F35 shows chroma moire and luma moire on their quarter-million (or so) flagship HD camera and Canon had to be forcibly reminded that most of the world is not NTSC.....

I don't want to get "silly" again to confront some of "remote moderator(s)" and

to start "personal marketing campaign to spread fear & doubt about ARRI's Alexa camera"

but what I heard/read about first Alexa's test footage screening that went without judgment because

"the ambient lighting in the conference room rendered that irrelevant".

That means if you have something to hide about the camera then turn the light on at your projection room.

Also F35 getting soon new sensor revision a.k.a 3MOS.

All that is just happening right now (live) under M-X pressure.

As I could be wrong as always according to certain moderators please don't get me so serious again.


One more thing:

Just forget all those Canon DSLR's rumors.
