Grading Examples

About 4 months ago I saw a post here with links to site showing different stills from films and the colour grades.
I can't seem to find the post?
Any pointers much appreciated.

Are you just looking for examples to show a client, or information on how to colour grade?

Here's a before and after example to get you started anyway, designed in this case to mimic the gritty modern blockbuster look so favoured by Hollywood currently:

Shot 4.5K ISO320 using Build 21 with a Canon EF50mm f/1.2L USM stills lens, wide open at 1/50th second exposure, on the Birger Engineering EF mount with Viewfactor Impero follow focus.

It's more for me to show my team for our next feature. A picture always seems to be thousand words.
The link I was referring to was stills from most of the blockbuster movies.

Ben thanks for the link. It's very informative. However the link I was looking for actually had stills from Hollywood block busters.

I remember the link you are talking about.

It had about 20 thumbnail images of each film ripped from DVD from about 20 top films.

But I don't have the URL for it. Sorry :-(

Thanks for the link. This is very useful. As Antony mentioned they most likely were images ripped from DVD. The images were at a higher res.
Never the less your link is great to show the team.
