On February 12-14, we wrote, produced, shot, and edited a film in 48 hours using our RED camera for the Fischgaard Short Film Project in Aberdeen, SD (http://www.fischgaard.org/).
Instead of drawing a genre, which is typical procedure, teams picked two movies out of a hat to create a mash-up. We chose Forrest Gump meets The Breakfast Club. Suffice it to say we were worried. We ended up with something that is more of a satire than anything. Hope you enjoy (p.s. there's a stinger at the very end):
The Foxhole Club

Specs:
RED (no MX) w/firmware v21.4.1
RED 18-50 Lens
ARRI mattebox and follow focus
Edited on an iMac with Final Cut Studio 3
We didn't have time for color correction, but we were amazed by the resulting look anyway. Most of it's shot outside at a local park. No lights, but a nicely overcast day.
Thanks to RED for making such an awesome camera!
