  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

We were doing some tests for upcoming feature using 4.5k WS. Apple Color crashes trying to import R3D files.

Camera Firmware: Release Build 21 (v21.4.1)
Color is updated to the latest
RED FINAL CUT STUDIO 3 INSTALLER is current, including the quicktime CODEC.
Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Current Color plugin doesn't handle R3D files @ 4.5K resolution, you need to trascode to another codec. I published a tutorial on digital cimema lessons.
