Hi all,

One more "first" in the post world for ASSIMILATE as we push forward with our RED workflow tools.

In our internal testing, we now have MULTIPLE RED ROCKET cards in ONE machine working.

Stereo R3D in realtime at Full Rez High for both Left Eye and Right Eye off one computer.

We will be showing a pre-release version of this technology at this Saturday's RED Day. Right now, this is still strictly internal, as we have some work to do to clean it up and make sure it's ready to fly. But it will be in beta reasonably soon for our beta customers.

Multiple RED Rockets also allow us to do other very neat tricks with R3D workflow... that you will have to wait and see for yourself on Saturday!

Best,

Lucas

Lucas, sounds like you're having a blast over there. 2 rockets, one machine! Great work! Can't wait...hope to see you in NY soon!

Counting the seconds. Let's do this!

Good thing JMR's new box has some extra slots ....!

I wonder what driver Assimilate is using?

The Red-supplied driver for the Rocket has a line in one of the config files logs it genrates that says something to the effect of "NUM_ROCKET_CARDS=1", or some such.

Subsequent whisperings have indicated that multiple Rockets for the upcoming resolution formats (9K anyone?) are in the works.

Anybody tried plugging two Rockets in a machine just to see what happens?
