Abel Cine Tech welcomes Jorge Diaz-Amador to our LA Service Department

Abel LA is happy to announce the latest addition to our Service team, Jorge Díaz-Amador.

Jorge Díaz-Amador brings fourteen years of experience in the industry, working as a Camera Service Technician, Camera Operator and Director of Photography. A graduate of the University of Miami Motion Picture Program, Jorge is experienced in the operation and maintenance of most 16mm and 35mm film cameras. In addition, he has completed both the Cooke Optics S4 service training program in Leicester England, and the Carl Zeiss service training program in Oberkochen, Germany.

Jorge comes to Abel from Miami, where he founded the camera service company, CinemaTechnic, in 1999. The boutique camera house provided sales, service and rental of film and digital cinema equipment – all experiences that make him a valued and welcome addition to the LA Service department.
