  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

What ever happened to cmocos?

In the original thread about their NAB presence, Stefan said that it wouldn't be available until "the end of next year" (meaning, I think, the end of 2010). Since it is challenging to look that far out, I'm sure this moving target has shifted already.

They have been regularly updating their website, so I don't think they have gone silent, it just means they aren't directly posting here at the moment.

I'm betting they'll be back at NAB with more developments.
 
Mmmm... I don't know about regularly updating their website.. Thats why I ask, the last time they seemed alive was a blog post in May 2009 :/

I'll better throw them an email, checking on their progress. Not that I ever will afford their toy, but hey :)

By that, I meant that a lot had changed on their website since post-NAB of last year, when all they had was a few renders. Now they have their own video online from Cinegear and a more fully articulated web presence.

The better alternative to voicing suspicions on reduser is to shoot them an email or two and see what they say...you probably should have even given that a pinch or two of effort, before posting inquiries here.

Geez... I though this was a forum!?! If I wanted to mail every manufacturer as soon as I though of something, what would the fun be with this forum?
Maybe someone already had a c-mocos and wanted to chime in, what do I know? Its not that Im accusing them or anything, I simply asked a question, to see if anyone knew anything, since I haven't heard anything for a while... :Yawn:
 
Sorry for the late reply, but I just found this thread. Although I´m reading reduser everyday it´s easy to miss things.
So, we are still here and busy working on it. I know we are a little lazy right now with updates of the website, but most of the time there are just more important things to do :wink5:
We were so quiet because our appearance at NAB and CineGear were just the first preview and we are (unfortunately still) in development.
I guess thats all I can say right now, but we will be in Las Vegas for the Red Day.

We will certainly be welcoming Stefan and the crew back to the Reduser event this year. I heard from a lot of people that they were blown away by the system and the potential it has. It was also damn cool looking, a visual treat for people walking by. I'm excited to see the development.
 
Thank you for the reply Stefan! I mailed you last week, but didn't hear anything, so I guess you are all more busy than ever. Great to hear that you will make a new apperance at Vegas even though I won't make it this year..
