You know what this is. I have it left over from my Aaton kit, been stored inside at all times. Make some kind of reasonable offer and it's yours. Ext. measurements 20x16 (approx) Great shape, latch perfect.

Hey, that's my old Aaton case! Vince, do me a favor and peel off the gold foil sticker on the front that has my name & address on it. I guess you pulled out the foam to use wherever you recased the camera in.

Yep thats the case. No problem, I already pulled off the sticker.

$100 on the case for whomever wants it!

too funny...

Yeah, had to, but certainly did not want to. My feature was shot with the Aaton and post prod., done how it needs to be done, isn't free, so.... And another feature I was going out on with it got postponed which was "the straw on the camel's back" for me financially.

Bluntly, I'm done owning cameras altogether, well, except for my S8 Nizo of course! The last features I was hired on either shot with an SI2K, a red, a sony, etc. and a planned one in the spring is going on 35mm. There are now too many choices that producers are picking for one reason or another that rental houses are the only way to go, I think. **And I'm speaking here from the perspective of indie feature DP's who aren't really doing commercial or industrial work like most are on here.

Maybe the next gen DSLR will be the only safe investment for the lone DP as more indie producers see their results; many are already questioning the need for $20k+ cameras now. Arguing against it seems to often go nowhere since the indie film business has basically died and budgets must die as well. A sad period in time unless you are lucky to be connected with a small studio.
