Genloc looses Sync

We have two RED ONE bodies connected to an external Sync generator via genloc. One of the cameras looses its sync after let`s say 2 to 3 minutes. The other body holds the sync for hours. Both are running on the same firmware, and having the same setup. We already put the firmware again on the faulty body.
Has anybody any ideas what could be wrong? I guess help is needed.

Thanx for an answer.

Check the cable running to the camera losing sync; also check the breakout box you're using.

Are you using a single sync generator and a DA or a generator with multiple outputs? Or a lockit box?

Thanks for answering...
We already checked and changed the breakout boxes an cables. We also tried without breakout box (with mini BNC wiring).
We use a generator with multiple outputs and tried every output of it.

Any other ideas?

Only options are user error, 23.98 versus 24.00 time base setting on one camera; or a faulty genlock circuit. The first is easily fixed, the second is a trip back to the factory.

since we`re shooting on a timebase of 25 for PAL and both cameras are setup in that way... it might be the genloc circuit. I`ll do some more tests and hope to find something we didn`t think of until now.
Thanks so far ...and in case I´ll say it with the words of Mr Presley:
....return to sender...
