  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

We are currently shooting on the RED ONE in Tarzana, Ca. Halfway through the shoot we ran into a technical problem with the camera. The image has a green interference/interlace-looking glitch in the middle of the frame that won't go away. I will post an image soon showing the problem.

If anyone knows how to fix it or where we can rent a RED ONE body for tomorrow and the day after let me know ASAP!

CF Module not working now as well, Cannot install build 21 here on set.
Did blackshading, default system setting and checked all the cables etc...
Def not a overheating issue.. Wondering if the CF module is related to this imaging malfunction.

AFAIK you can do firmware installation using the built-in SD card reader.
 
Did you try to record on a Red Raid or Red Ram ? I had a similar problem about a year ago and it was the CF Module.
 
I would try doing a black shade calibration again. We had a similar issue, by doing the black shade it went back to normal.
