Hello all!
This is my first thread and I am a Japanese so, please for give me about my English.

I wanna know about the Aladin's Lens Controller.
If you used the Aladin's before,

My question is an Auxiliary power outputs.
When I am using the Aladin's Focus, Iris and Zoom with my RED ONE,
I can't stop camera stop. The Aladin can controll the camera on/off then I can Run (on) but I can't stop.
Anyone knows about pin assign of an Auxiliary power outputs LEMO 4 pins
(FGG.0B.304.CLAD42Z)?

Also the Aladin company (chrosziel) made the other Lens controller, name is the Digi-Fox.
I tried with the Digi-Fox too but I can't camera stop either.

Thank you.

Is there any chance that alladin's on/off switch has 2 modes, one "always on" for cameras like arri 3 or SRII and below, and one "press on, press off" for cameras like RED and there is a DIP switch somewhere in the receiver side that controls which one is selected?

Also check the gpio settings in the RED.

Hi Tsuyoshi, yoroshiku onegaishimasu!!

I might be able to help you troubleshoot your setup. I'm here in Tokyo so we could meet if you like and see if we can fix it.

As J.Eric Camp said, you might need to change your GPIO settings in the System area of the camera menus.

Anyway, send me an email if you want to catch up.

Cheers,

Paul

Thank you so much for Petros-san, J.Eric-san and Paul-san.
First of all, I already try for switch in the Aladin's receiver but nothing change.
Thank you Petros-san.
Next, I'm not sure but someone told me "don't touch the GPIO data because of the RED ONE will broken" then I 'm so afraid of change for setting.
What is meaning of "GPIO" exactly?
If I can check the GPIO settings, what can I do? "ACTIVE_LO" or "HI"?
Ooooo, I must study more.
Thank you.

Tsuyoshi-san,

The remote on/off trigger works differently depending on the camera.

For the RED camera, the camera on/off switch (on the receiver) should be set to: Momentary. Looks like two hills (see below image):

Lastly, you want to make sure you are using the correct cables:

For the Aladin, you should be using, Cable #: AC-COFR1 —*Genio/Aladin camera on/off 4-pin Lemo -- RED camera Lemo 4pin (0B) upper AUX-out socket in default condition

For the DigiFox, you should be using: Cable #: AC-DFCOFR1 —*DigiFox camera start/stop cable Hirosi 12-pin -- RED camera Lemo 4-pin (0B) upper AUX-out socket in default condition

If you are still having a problem, please let me know. We should be able to trouble shoot via phone/email.

Thank you Michael-san

I didn't use the cables! because the RED ONE was not it in the world when I get the Aladin and the Digi-Fox.
I made cables by myself.
I have to get cables!
Thank you very much Michael-san!

and...thank you very much everyone.
