Beautiful!

Thanks Jim. Red One is getting very popular in China. We're all expecting Epic-x. Hopefully we could see you on RED DAY in FEB 13th,LA.

That third frame catches my eye. It feels almost like retro film stock but a lot sharper. Congrats.

Beautiful work! When can we expect to see this feature?

I was in China this summer, and I would have loved to have had my camera for it. SO many beautiful things to see. Had to settle for my old SD Sony handycam...

Beautiful indeed! :-) Let me know if the film needs any original music scoring done. ;-)

Hey Ryan, were you in Beijing in the summer? If you wanna shoot on Red One, you could contact me. We are the biggest Red One rental house in Beijing, + the unique/ the only one Scratch V5.0 in China. Fully support RED!

I was indeed in Beijing, as well as Nanchang. I fully intend to go back (maybe next sumer) so I'll remember to look you up!

Hi Yang,

If you'll allow me (I'll remove if you are not happy), I've upped the levels slightly so we can all see what it might look like once CC is done.

The first frame (third in your series) is remarkable... almost technicolour in nature.

Kind regards,

Julian

This looks fantastic - this is UNGRADED? It looks like technicolor. I guess its down to great light/exposure and perfect art design, huh? Congrats.

Yeah, ungraded. Keep half to one stop underexposed to protect the highlight.

lol, nice one. Btw, we will do old school color effected. The war scenes are all flashback.
