That's right. A gun...

If you check in a Starter Pistol (gun's used at track meets, doesn't have to be registered in any state) with your luggage, the TSA will not open it or mess with it, plus it gets special tracking above the usual luggage. I'm doing this from now on.

Not very well thought out Richard.

Any chance that a large increase in the amount of luggage with Starter Pistols, having to be tracked, will slow down any legitimate law enforcement activities by the TSA?

Im just sayin... I fly a lot.

I don't think this will work very well on international flights!!

Hmmm...I tried with nail clippers and they stopped me and confiscated them. Makes perfect sense. :out:

Yes, and after running you through the 3D body-scanner, the woman at the airport winked at you and said "Time to clip those toe-nails!"

hehehe.

Once I managed to go through with nail clippers. After they detected "the weapon" and wanted to confiscate it, I requested the supervisor to make a complaint. My complaint was that I was terribly concerned about security and my safety onboard, if foolish regulations are followed when safety of passanges was at stake. They couldn't provide a coherent answer to my question: "What if someone had a loaded gun and there was another fool like this at the check point?" They let me through with my nail clippers onboard. :biggrin5:

I managed to go through with an airsoft gun I didn't realize I had packed into my carry on bag...crazy how it got through a full circuit without being taken away...it was loaded too O.o

Anyway, on topic...
That surely will end up being revised if the numbers increase...even more so they may ask you to have a license and then give privileges to only a few people or something like that to stop people from abusing the system, until then go ahead! haha...

Just came into the UK, locked camera cases and all, no questions asked, went straight through.
