Just wondering what do folks here find works best with RPPs when you need to fill that gap between the 100 and 300mm?

Angi HR worky?

As much as I'd like to use something like the Optimo 25-290, it may not be realistic in terms of mobility (and possibly budget). We have a fairly small crew and some difficult terrain to negotiate.

Cheers!

OK, how about the primes on the wider end?

If I had to rent a prime that's wider/longer than RPP's 25/100 what would you rent?

At least one of the 50 people who viewed this post must have an answer. :)

Thank you Red people.

Cheers,

I saw a video where the Angenieux Rouges were matched to RPPs very nicely, so you could look at the 16-42 for the wider end. Less than the cost of an S4 and not far removed from the UPs.

I've also heard that the Tokina 11-16 will match well, but I havent seen footage of it alongside RPPs. Costs WAY less than S4s and UPs.

That's my 0.02!

UP or the short Rouge are my suggestions for wide. UP's again will work on the long end.
