Hello Everyone,

Found some brand new ARRI gear lying around:

4 - MB-20 System II Matteboxes
These are the clamp on units; we do have one swing away kit
We have various inserts, flags, eyebrows for them as well

1 - FF4 LW

2 - FF5 HD LW

Various adaptors, drive gears, etc for the follow focuses.

We’ll beat the prices of any of the major online retailers. But, don’t expect miracles.

If interested, send me an email: sschneider@fvesco.com

Thanks, Scott.

Scott,

To be honest, for second hand kit everything seems well over priced on-ebay. $1295 for a set of baby legs without a spreader? They are easily picked up for $800.00 a set with a spreader. $3400 for a 15mm chrosziel FF?...If your MB20's are costed like the rest of the gear, we would be better off buying a new box and getting the guarantee from Arri.

I don't mean to give you a hard time, but i keep seeing your for sale adds and it all just seems way too expensive for used kit.

Robert,

The items listed above are new not used.

If our used gear doesn't sell, either we'll lower the prices, or toss them in the dumpster.

I appreciate your “thoughts” about or prices, but as I have said before, our prices are our prices, if you don’t like them...move along.

I'm guessing the company has a fair amount of bills to pay as they are "Finding new follow focus units lying around."

They are trying to get the maximum amount for every piece of gear they have in their inventory. As they should... you always start high.... somebody somewhere may want it.

That being said, if/when they want to move their inventory they will have to come down on the prices of things that aren't selling as that's all they have to offer... a good deal (with the exception of the occasional factory warrant y that still may be in place.)

Not many people on this forum will pay more for something from company going out of business or individual if the price is higher than companies that offer the same item with warranties and has been in business for 15+ years with great reputations for the quality of product they sell and the service they provide.

I have my eye on a few lenses, I've emailed F/Vesco about them. They were really great in answering all my questions and I'd be happy to do business with them... but, for now, the prices are a little on the high side.

I'll wait until the deals get good... if they don't, someone will have one eventually at a price I'll pay.

Please don't dump the kit, find a college near you or a group of young film makers and give them first dibs on the gear!! there must be plenty of them near you.

I buy a lot of gear, and don't mind paying a fair price, as you advertise so often on the forums i felt compelled to mention the prices.

Happy to "move along"....

Just let me know which dumpster you throw that stuff into and we'll be all good

I guess I should start driving by and checking the dumpsters every night... :)

As for prices, it's their gear and they can ask what they want. If anyone want to seriously discuss a deal with them or negotiate pricing, it's best to take that off the forum. No reason to crap in other peoples' threads.

Just think of it as karma Jeff ;-)
