Redrive appears empty after shooting????

18th day of shooting so the team is quite experienced already, they have unmounted a magazine after shooting a scene and went for copping on a macbook pro with R3D data manager. Checksum did not start so they checked the drive and it appears to be empty - 2mb.

Any suggestions?

Any errors whilst recording?

Are there any clip folders at all?

Have you tried RedUndead?

Was there a CF card in the camera also. If so they may have been recording to it rather than the drive and didn't realize it. Just a shot in the dark.

Hey Ido.
Same thing happened to me a few months ago. took out what appeared to be a 75% Harddrive, only to see it's storing about 4mb.
I used the program REDUndead, on mac, and a few hours later it restored the whole driver. the action isn't that complicated if you read the manual. give me a call if you still have problems. 0523874348

Could it have been a case of giving the wrong drive to the dit? Ie the ac gets confused and hands off the empty magazine and remounts and formats the exposed one?
