Does anyone have any idea "approximately" what an Interchangeable Lens Scarlet might weigh (lbs.) with all the basic equipment attached to it, minus a lens?? Mainly set up for studio work.
Thanks.

That is yet to be determined. "with all the basic equipment attached to it, minus the lens??" is just too abstract a question. A lens is a basic component to any camera. As for any of the other attachments you may want to be a little more specific as to what attachments you would require.:willy_nilly:

The lens weights are too variable, even more so than attachments for the camera.

I'm asking for the "approximate" camera weight, nothing more. Add or subtract any attachments and accessories you like, as long as I can get "some idea" as to what we're looking at here. Are we talking a 5lb. camera or a 100lb camera?

Thanks.

I think you got it just right yourself: 5-100lbs is a good range:

5-10 being really bare essentials to shoot while a studio/feature rig may easily be 50-100 lbs with all the bits and pieces going into it.

I would say 5-10 is a good expectation for a pretty slim setup. Detailed spec sheets are due around here soon... We're all waiting...

As I am currently in the market for a new tripod head, I'm hoping to not only find out how much the fixed-lens Scarlet weighs, but what its vertical center of gravity is. I hope that when they do publish specs, they make them quite detailed!
