Hello everybody,

we want to edit material from the JVC GZ-HD7 in avid MC 3.x (windows) - does anyone have experience how do transcode the material?

all the best,
martin

didnt even know that camera existed until just now. 1/5" CCD? interesting.

TOD files? This will require some research lol.

You might want to try DXVuser forums. A lot of the same people from here go there, but you might find a thread for this camera already existing.

you can use mpeg streamclip - a freeware transcoder, but you may need quicktime mpeg module, which is a pay-download from apple. (that´s how it works on macs, in windows it should work similar and you choose an appropriate codec in streamclip)
good luck!
