I just bought a 7d to hold me over till the Scarlet came out. I have less than $1000 to spend on accessories. How can this best be stretched out? I looked at the 7d Accessories Poll, and too many of those products recommended would eat at my budget.
Particularly, I want a steadicam system, tripod, viewfinder? Any recommendations are greatly valued. Also have money set aside for more glass. So $1k is just for accessories.

Glidecam 2000 is the way to go for the stabalizer. See if you can find a "Pro" instead of getting an "HD". The differences aren't significant enough to sweat over when you're on a budget.

Viewfinder? Probably the LCDVF. Snoop around on Cinema5D a little for more on that. Then you've got some cash left over for a beefy pair of alumunum sticks and the jaw-droppingly excellent manfrotto HDV head for $150
