She is indeed.... is she a girl ?
Very light hand control and you can lower the ff bracket for shorter fingers or even grip from the focus knob instead of hand grip, all works depending on style.
I used to pull focus with finger tip so I kind of adjust it like this. We forgot to put the battery cause we didnt have long cables for red cradle so I have added a small weight of 1 kilo to compansate. you can get rid of this to with the battery.
Thanks

Things of "speed, grace or beauty" can have the female connotation ;) Your choice she is your creation.

Nice job!

How do you like the VF system? (I am waiting for mine).

Its an early unit so the motor is slower and more noisy than the new motor, and the impero is with the limited functions but it hasnt give any trouble as listed, a couple of times lost signal when focus puller was lazy to follow me and left 30 meters behind while I was running with steadicam and HR-1 but apart of that is ok. I expect an upgrate but Iam very late number...dont mind waiting...thanks Iam glad you like it. Maybe I ll visit my sister in Austria Vienna soon so we can meet. Iam still trying to see if I will have time off for that...too running rig crazy buzy at the moment.

Hi Constantine,

It looks to me like you've put a number of tapped holes in the bracket that your left handle attaches to--one of which you use for the RED arm / LCD. If you have another RED arm you could use it to hold and position the Impero--thus not needing the the additional bracket and also allowing you to tilt the Impero to a more ergonomic position.

Just a thought.

I've been impressed by your design and the manner in which you continue to improve it. Nice work.

This is true about the red arm, but there are a few draw backs. First the red arm isnt very sturdy and if one wants to use his palm holding and supporting from the knob it keeps slipping-no offense to the red team. Second the red arm is much heavier than the rod and bracket system.Third you can rotate the impero at any angle due to brack configuration.
The brack and rod is so rigid you can totaly hold it instead of the handle.and very very light.
any weight you can avoid from the front part of HR-1 is a plus for less back compensation.Cause this is a system that likes to be balanced.
Finally this is just a quick brack and rod I ve put together to saw this the final support bracks and rods for the impero will be more modular in possitioning.
Thank you for your kind comments.
