Scarlet Service

I'm interested in buying the interchangeable Scarlet, but would first like to know how effective Red's repair services are.

Assuming I would have to ship a defective/damaged product from my home in central Europe to California for repair, how long would I then have to wait before getting it back? Anyone care to share their experiences with R1?
