Metafuze ALE relinking problem

hello

i'm preping an offline edit(MF+sync on avid MC 3.5) for a feature shot on red.
they shot with a camera sound ref but when i import the ALE metafuze generted i only get the image to relink but no the sound

i do how ever manged to get it from the Media tool (but for obvious reasons i dont want to use it as a permanennt solution)

any ideas?

Are you using ALE to relink from? If so, make sure the ALE shows A1A2 (number of tracks) with the V in the Tracks column.

the ALE contains a VA1 pattern in its setting-yet im unable to relink
i've tried modifing it but no still success

i've worked with MF withe several projects before but this never happend to me

my workflows is :

*transcode MXF+export ale in MF
*copy mxf to the avid media files folder
*delete msm's
*open a new avid bin
*import ale
*relink

always worked perfectly before
i'm clueless

How many A tracks are actuall in the MXF file?

as i said- i can even play it from the media tool

If you drag the clip from the MediaTool into the bin, is the clip VA1 and plays as such?

I am out of ideas without actually seeing the MXF file and ALE for it.
