  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

It was great till the very end. He did not look believable and the lighting was off.
 
Alright, here's my opinion and critique. The audio levels and recording were pretty sub-standard. Also I cringe everytime I hear that cliche record scratch sound from Final Cut/Soundtrack Pro. This commercial does not look like it was shot on red at all due to the scaling etc.

Again, just my opinion.
 
I do some work for Frito-Lay.....

Mostly training vids but the guys I was working with
were saying the guys in the Doritos ad department
are saving millions in production budgets by sponsoring these contests.

Sure they still shoot spots that are usually in the 120K range but
not near as many as they would since they started running
these contests. I guess for the top picks it is good to get exposure.

I can't enter - the guys at Frito-Lay said if I did they would
have to fire me....or kill me...my choice.
