Conceptualised shot and edited this over a weekend for Fly By Night 2009 (singapore). Fly By Night Singapore is a 48 hour filmmaking competition much like the 48hr Film Project. No Right Turn was one of ten judges choice winners.

Shot in 4k, finished with proxies, coloured with Magic Bullet Looks.

No obvious problems, apart from one very grainy slo-mo shot.

done with a crew of 3. just goes to show the red is a trully versatile camera from big hollywood feats to 0 budget weekend projects.

Director: Erin Houselander
Writer: John Goh
DOP: Jason Joseph

subtitles are in singlish, an amalgamation of English and several local languages.

Hmmmm yeh I duno if I really liked it sorry. The music wasnt very good, the subtitles were off, and the color correction made to footage look worse. Sorry not tryign to pull your production down, I'm just giving you my honest opinion.

hah no worries i think it was a decent effort given the time and resources we had.

gd pt on the grading

Yeh it was more the over use of vignetting that i didn't really like. But hey, you out there and your learning so its all good. Learn from your mistakes and get better and better, then next thing you know you'll be making a masterpiece :)

Good luck :)
