I have an exported .xml from FCPro.

All clips show up in the timeline and I have full access to the .r3d data.

However, every other or sometimes every 3rd clip does NOT show up in the color window when I click on it. I can see it in the timeline, I can adjust the clip before or after it.....

Such weirdness..anyone else get this?

Thanks

Didn't fix it.

Here's what I've done:

I have an XML file that I relinked to the original R3Ds with Clipfinder.

Sent that xml to FCPro.

Sent that timeline to Color.

I see all of the clips icons on the timeline.

However, only an=bout 25% of the clips are able to be graded when I click on them.

The other just appear as a black screen.

Now, when I disable the grade, I can see ALL of the clips.

So far I have tried to fix the looping bug with clipfinder, trash the Color preferences, and reset all of the primary in grades. Nothing has worked.

Just a stretch... but are the clips in question a different frame size than the ones you can see? Like, are they over-cranked 3k files?

First try to check the clips in clipfinder:

1) Go to file-> load clips from fcp xml. If you edited with prores proxies after loading clips choose replace mov with r3d and see if all the clips are found (you should provide the name of the folder containing rdc folders).

2) Check that all the loaded clips are playable inside the clipfinder. Also you can try to fix the permissions of the rdc folders. If not all the clips are playable - select all the clips in clipfinder and regenerate the reference mov files - those with _H, _M and _P suffixes. But before doing it notice what build of red camera was used - for build before 20 you should use clipfinder with old color science or better use Redalert 3.5

Hey Matt.

What is the duration of the cuts?

how many events in the timeline?

How many Layers?

How long is the timeline?

David

:30 spot.
Each cut is about 2-3 seconds.
About 20 events.
Timeline WAS 4 layers but I collapsed them all to one to troubleshoot.
Timeline is now :50

Thanks
