Hi, i was making some renders of my day on clips, with burn-in TC, in clipfinder, everything working fine until yesterday, now i cant make any render at all, i try with the old versions, new versions, deferents clips, but nothing change, i still cant make renders throe. Any ideas??

Thanks..

BTW: When i close it, it always crash and bring the apple error window.
BTW2: We also try with some clips that work in other occasions and now they dont. In Clipfinder 2.2 Beta 3, the renders finish but it doesnt make a clip, and a filmstrip come with an X, next to the R3D in the info box. And in
the other versions of clipfinder the render doesnt even start.

Thanks again...

Here is the console log of the error:

11/5/09 3:49:11 PM Clipfinder[1202] REDline reported the following error while trying to render '/Users/camilo/Desktop/A001_C182_11035W.RDC': (
" 1: MagicCamOpen: Not an allowed process!",
"[000:002] MagicCam 1: Current process: REDline, Flash is loaded: no",
"[000:002] Error(magiccammac.cc:276): MagicCam 1: MagicCamOpen: Not an allowed process!",
""
)

Did you try to reinstall red quicktime component and redalert package again?

If you are running Snow Leopard, you might try this:

Restart while holding the "shift" key until you see the white apple, then release. It'll bring you up in Safe Mode. Then restart again normally. My understanding is that this is re-writing all the permissions from scratch.

This has fixed a number of odd, QuickTime-related problems for me, so give it a try.

This is a problem with the Google voice and video plugin, which wreaks havoc all over OS X (see here "http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/chat/thread?tid=67edfa4eb36bd26c&hl=en").
I have not been able to find a way to report the error to Google and they do not seem to react to posts on their forum.
The plugin comes with an uninstaller. Once you run that, your problems will be gone.

Cheers,
Hans
