Need DP for RED short film shoot (Dec), North Wales ALREADY HAVE RED & ZEISS MK3 SS's
Hey,
We're shooting a short film in North Wales (Wrexham) starting mid December (12th) running through to the 20th or so (possibly 22nd if needed) and I'm looking for a skilled DP to help.
We already have a RED One rented (with matte box follow focus), a set of Zeiss Superspeeds, and all neccesary gripping equipment. We also have a set of 5 tungsten lights (3 800w, 2 500w), 3 set of LED litepads and more money to spend on anything else needed.
You will be provided with accomodation in a 14 bedroom grade 2 listed building, and be working with a team of 12 others. This is a really good opportunity to work on a good script, with a really nice and skilled set of people just before christmas. The script is a drama/fantasy story, and really will present some opportunitys to be really creative and adventurous.
We have a dedicated art department, sound recordists hair/makeup team, grips, runners and I'm currently penned as director (writer), DP & primary cam op. Whilst on smaller projects I'm fine with this, on this project (our first real ambitious short), I simply will not be able to deal with the workload to a standard I'd be happy with.

This was just a little project shot on HDV. Will just give you a rough idea of the kind of work we do.

P.S Please only do get in touch if you are experienced with the RED One, and also have a showreel we can view of your work. Not being mean here, we're just putting a lot of our own money into this one and need to be cautious.
