Well the thing is: one of my friend wants to import m_proxies into FCP and m_proxies only. He doesn't need the f_ or h_ or p_proxies, he's currently using clipfinder/FCP, and he says that everytime he imports those proxies into FCP, it automatically imports all four kinds of proxies and it bothers him a lot because the other three kinds of proxies would take a lot of the space in the FCP material management window. He wants ot know if there is some way to solve his problem, maybe some other softwares rather than clipfinder can help to import one kind of those proxies only one time into FCP.

(that's at least what he told me, I'm not so sure about what he's talking about though....)

What I do is simple search the reels in the Finder for _m.mov then drag the results into a bin in FCP. That way you get only the proxy size you want and not all the other files = less confusion...

You can. Simply select the 1/4 resolution in the Clipfinder browser window and drag the clips that you want into FCP.

Alternatively you can drag RAW files into for instance AE by selecting 'Drag R3D's instead of MOV's' in the preferences pane of Clipfinder.

edit: Julio beat me, this forum is just too fast lol

Another option is when in FCP, go to file import. And then in the search tab on the top right side of the window, when selected on the Master footage folder, type _M and it will bring up all the _M proxies within that folder. Select all and hit import.
Cheers,
