Help
So, I'm shooting a tv show with a couple reds based on the pilot which came out well (build 17) and on the first day we faced several issues I haven't seen before.
We are now on build 20.1.3
Issue 1) The image in the evf, the lcd and the monitor connected to the HD-SDI out all becomes super saturated (yellow especially) and solarized. Rebooting does not appear to alleviate this. We switched out b cam for our backup c body and the same problem randomly presented itself. It also happens with our A body, so that's three bodies presenting this issue. My data manager tells me the footage looks okay in redalert, which is a partial relief. However, having the execs and directors watching a terrible image is not good. It also makes lighting really hard.
Has anyone encountered this problem/ do you have a solution?
I'm considering going back to build 17, which never gave me this problem, but that means I lose my ability to adjust the tone curve, which brings me to issue 2)
Issue 2) The camera remembers the tone curve adjustment I made to the knee, but not to the toe. Every time we reboot the camera it forgets the toe adjustment, even though it is saved. It is strange that it remembers the knee adjustment however. they also remember the saturation adjustment.
This problem is also present in all three bodies.
I miss build 17.
